ProScan: Can't Read Profile

I'm setting up a new "personality" for my SDS150 for an upcoming trip.

I have the Favorites List and the Systems. Everything scans fine.

Because it's new, the colors are the default and I want to changed them. For some reason, probably related to the problem I'm having reading the profile I couldn't upload the new display colors to the scanner. I was able to do that using Sentinel, but I want to save them in Proscan.

When I tried to read, I selected the file I created and went through the process.

I got the following error message.

The problem is that there is not file with that name. It doesn't show up in the Proscan directory. It should read

G:\Documents\ProScan Files\SDS150TSTprofile.cfg'.

There is also no .cfg file in that directory. Some of my other files also don't have a .cfg file, but I don't know if that's problem.

I don't know why Proscan appends the "TEST PROFILE" to what I select and I can't get it not to.

This is what the "Select Profile" window shows,

G:\Documents\ProScan Files\SDS150TST\

That's the file I selected, but not what the error message showed.

I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh download with no change.

I tested my SDS100 and got a similar result with this being the first line,

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'G:\Documents\ProScan Files\SDS100TEST\TEST PROFILE\profile.cfg'.

I'm at a loss.

I don't know why Proscan appends the "TEST PROFILE" to what I select and I can't get it not to.

ProScan did not create that automatically. It is possible you created it previously using Sentinel or ProScan.

Could you please select a profile as shown in the first image. If you have multiple profiles and are unsure which one to select, please check Sentinel as shown in the second image.

I think I see what you're saying. I'm trying to open the wrong files.

Edit: Yes, I was looking in the wrong place for profiles. I was able to find the Uniden directory under my Users directory and open it.

I was looking in the wrong place because I didn't realize that the profiles weren't saved in Proscan, but under Uniden.

I should be all set now.

ProScan can open and save it in the Uniden folder or in a different location or drive.
