Capital PD TG 2451

The last couple of weeks I have noticed the Capital Police in Augusta seem to only be broadcasting on MSCommNet TG 2451. I am not hearing anything on their previous frequency 154.770. I know this change has been in the works for a while. Looks like they have made the switch.

Today I heard some testing between 1300 units and then a couple OIT 7500 units later on but no regular traffic yet. I was hearing it off spruce which I wouldn’t expect to carry that TG regularly but we shall see. Also one of the units simply referred to himself as “70.” Not sure if some of them drop the 13 on their own channel?
