Carbon and Emery counties to look at digital

In talking with a local radio tech this morning and what was mentioned in an article recently, as well as already seeing Emery County have NXDN control repeaters up, its beginning to look as if we will need to start getting digital scanners for our area,

The local radio tech said there are big changes coming in the next year, they plan on going to NXDN but may be forced to use P25, either way it will be digital trunking vhf sites for Carbon County...

They have 6 sites all ready I'm not sure how active they are.

From my location in Price the NXDN channels that seem like control channels, constant noise, I can hear 4 separate frequencies here. Carbon has not yet got a license for NXDN but has one for P25 phase 1

I have 2 sdr usb sticks but don't know enough about it to run it through unitrunker, I don't know how to tweak it to make it pick up signal, I hear u have to tune it in , I tried but the signal in my house wasnt strong enough

I can pick up Site: L312-5 Ran 5 here from Ut County I believe this is the Huntington site 154.0175 Control channel 8. Nexedge 48
