The last Saturday meeting of the Chicago Area Radio Monitoring Association (CARMA) for 2017 will be on October 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Stevens Restaurant, 2393 W 63rs St. in Woodridge IL 60559 630-810-9812. We gather for lunch, order a meal (because we get the private room for free), have great service, and excellent food.
The round table discussion begins promptly at 1:00 pm. Everyone is expected to share some form of information, whether it's a frequency they monitor, some new technology for "show and tell," or hand-outs to participants. If you have something to sell that is radio-related, please bring it along! At times we have a local vendor who has many interesting scanner accessories such as antennas, Bluetooth earphone sets, adapters, speakers, and more.
Again, this will be the last Saturday gathering for CARMA for 2017. We will possibly have the 2018 Saturday meeting dates, once we have the dates set with the restaurant for the private room for our group. Don't forget the Friday Nighters (there may be a few left in 2017), however, we will be looking for a host in 2018 due to a vacancy for this position.
