hello everyone I'm wondering what kind of radio freq dose the Carnival Glory use with that. I'm wondering so I have clue I'm wondering about the Atlantis Bahamas radio freq. I'm going out of port carrerval Florida which its in brevard county

Last reports analog PL and DPL, but that is from 2013

Many ships (some still very analog) and Cruise Lines have moved to many flavors of DMR to include Cap+

As for the Atlantis Resort, try the RRDB

According to the website, nope.



However, Ham radios/amateur radio equipment is allowed. Guess you could also use an SDR and laptop with software as a way around the scanner rule.

I will not be talking just listening to the stuff on my headset which I have me a headset

Some report (me personally) confiscation of radios prior to boarding, others have had Security Respond to the Cabin to ensure it did not transmit. - and my experience is/was RCCL lines, never been on Carnival

It might vary if a handheld and kept with other electronics such as a camera, no issue there, mine was in my backpack
got it back upon arrival back in port - others have had horror stories of getting it back

Okay looking into the different radio scanner that I have the DM1701

If you look thru this forum you will see I have been on a number of cruises in the past year including Carnival. Not one problem or question about the scanner. Not saying you won't have a problem but I did not.
