Fire 1 handles most departments and all above listed tones

Fire 2 is Morehead City and Atlantic Beach and their tones

Fire 3 is Emerald Isle and their tones.

it remains as it ever was, 154.995 countywide fire/ems dispatch......

the main county/town law/fire/ems frequencies have not changed, only their tagged names,and channel organization in their radios....and also being narrowbanded now.....(only Morehead City PD changed frequencies with a new repeater)

there are some new tactical channels and a new emergency repeater.....but otherwise all else remains exactly the same as far as frequencies and use under the new 2011 Consolidated Countywide Dispatch system.....

Well, gesucks, thanks again for all the info you have uncovered, for viper the sheriff uses it, and many other departments but no agency relies on it. I programed in the DB's info on Carteret's viper and since they use the same numbers, call signs, and dispatchers, it can usually be figured out from earlier scanning.

Update

Couple of interesting things today.

While at NPS Cape Lookout, the only radio seen with the NPS Ranger was a FRS radio. Nothing seen on close call hits or searching the Fed VHF band.

Also 2 Carteret Co Sheriffs talking on UCALL40D 453.2125 to each other on the scene of a car wreck. Both were in their patrol cars and when one got out he said he would be off the channel due to leaving the car. It would appear that they only have access to the UHF channels in the car.
