Is the Raleigh Fire Dept. going 'silent', or was it just a problem with the system? RFD was sounding listening to an AM radio in between two hills.

I was hearing them fine Friday and Saturday, till I left. They sounded fine

If they were going (or went) encrypted or "silent" as you say, they wouldn't sound like "listening to an AM radio". If you were to hear any sound at all it'd be more like starting at 9 seconds into this clip

Ok, I did hear some clean hits since then. That didn't sound like, what I originally heard.
