Greene County has a repeater system licensed on 453.8125 MHz. Maybe CPD can use that.

I didn't see any other governmental UHF in the FCC database for Catskill or the county.

If you search with just "Catskill" as the licensee and New York as the state, anything licensed to an entity with that word in its name should show up.

In the past few weeks, I have heard activity on the 453.8125 repeater (when the CDTA 453.825 wasn't on the air) and I was hearing law enforcement type radio traffic. I did not get any unit numbers or locations.

I hear Catskill PD from time to time on 155.775 MHz. (DCS 364).

From my location in Latham, it is very difficult to monitor the 453.8125 due to the fact that CDTA has 453.825 transmitters on Corning Tower, as well as Willard Mountain (according to the license).

Is First Student Transportation still using 461.250 CTCSS 136.5, and if so do they provide the transportation for Catskill Schools?

Once in a blue moon one of the dispatchers links the UHF to whatever and yes First student does service them. So that might be it as well. But somewhere i remember the School getting a low power UHF system in but i found a license for VHF listed in Ulster county.
