1) Hi. Started to monitor this site on my HP1 and on Trunk 88. I get a decent signal from my home in Aldershot, normally at 100% with some fluctuations on T88, same as Brantford's.
This is a very quiet tower. I expect to hear and see activity from Hamilton Simcoe and Hamilton City on the MOH as well as the Brant/Haldimand patches for the OPP but which MTO roads talkgroup covers this area and will I hear Norfolk 6 Oscar here regularly as Port Dover is in Norfolk and not that far from Cayuga?
I dont see Niagara's CACC and OPP talkgroups here as well, I kind of expected them to as they border Haldimand.
2) I imagine that Simcoe's fleetnet tower in Norfolk is out of the question with a 1/4 wave antenna facing WSW? I have heard this tower a few times on the escarpment facing SW and in the 'highlands' on the 403 between Peel and Halton but I cannot get a good enough signal here to acquire the C/C to listen and monitor. I guess I am about 20 clicks short for this tower.
