The person asking about CBs below reminded me of something...

Does anyone remember what the name/brand of those mobile CB radios that that had a telephone-type handset for a mic/speaker????

Want to find a replacement for the one stolen from my collection, but can't remember what they were called... :(

YEP! The 130 was the type! My friend and I each had one - we used to jokingly refer to them as "Rampart phones" (If you've ever watched "Emergency", you'll know why).

Lol, even back in 1992, we used to get a lot of strange looks from people over these.

If anyone wants to make a grab for that radio shack unit, go for it. I'm going to holdout for a 130 (exact model replacement). ;)

BTW, 3 weeks ago I picked up an old 23 channel mobile rig... complete with FCC cb license! Anyone know of a site I could post a scan of it(the license), for history-sake?
