Can someone who is able to track the system update the database? I have a good list of tg's started but only a couple identified.

I know Somerset law enforcement are using ProVoice but most of that can be heard on the patch to FiRST. What other users are using ProVoice in Worcester and Somerset and roughly how many talkgroups are ProVoice?
Seeing the same thing on the Florida SLERS. The RR database is having a hard time excepting the information. If you ever have to go back and edit, you will have to start from scratch.

There is (was) a plan for the Somerset TGS on the FiRST patch to be encrypted on the FiRST side at the request of Somerset. If they will continue with that plan in light of the Uniden PV option remains to be seen as the development took system owners by surprise.
There are a number of PV talkgroups on the Worcester system. These are mostly LE TAC talkgroups. Each municipal PD has a "channel 2" that is PV and the Sheriff's Office has a number of PV talkgroups however most of those are encrypted.

Curious why they talked about but then opted not to encrypt on FiRST.
Seems like the biggest issue with encrypting on the EDACS or FiRST side would be any potential expense involved - is there a cost or would something else stop them from now encrypting?
Seems like there is limited value in paying for the ProVoice option for the lower shore - even more so if the "system owners" decide they now need to encrypt. Listening may be short lived.

It would not be wise for Somerset to invest in encryption until they move to P25. They have used PV as a way to have privacy through obscurity.
You have less than 2 years until Worcester and Ocean City have migrated to P25. On both Worcester and Ocean City the things that really need to be protected are already encrypted using DES. Those same functions will remain encrypted with AES when the P25 cutovers happen. While TG structures will change you should generally see nothing more and nothing less go encrypted at least at the county level.

Yes. No Encryption for Dispatch TGs.
I have it on my 436 and with the new Firmware installed & Provoice Feature enabled ($49.99) it works just great.
Have not heard any E. Everything seems to be in the clear..
Did I mention It's Great!!!! Sound is clear, It's got lots of traffic..

Unless something changed in the last two years CCSO and EPD have their own primary talkgroups. The remainder or the PDS share are talkgroup called "Towns".

Remember that verified talkgroups should go to the database; unknowns, as well as Radio IDs should be in the wiki. Questions about whether the DB can handle the extended addressing TGs should go to the Database forum.

I have not attempted to submit anything regarding Cecil County, Someone else apparently has and they appeared and disappeared again & again, after seeing them for a day, POOF Deleted. Why? Wuz Up Wit Dat?
