Those TG's were in use all along, They just were not definitively ID'd until yesterday. I don't think anything nefarious is in the works regarding the E word. They could be monitored all along with the right stuff..IMHO..

4739 I have heard a couple times before but not nearly as much as they were using it yesterday. Haven't heard the other ones. And yes they could be monitored before but I'm sure there are quite a few more listeners than there were before.

Yeah, A few more listeners (mostly nerds; I include myself in that category) Not nearly as many as they may think. And certainly not gonna hinder Cecil County's ability to protect & serve the public. The equipment ain't cheap and average Joe public ain't going out in droves to buy it; Then they have to figure out how to use it properly, Particularly in Cecil Co. :D with the steep learning curve and all; they got nothing to worry about.. Just don't feed it the scannerless.. Keep it a hobby.

I'm pretty sure they were Cecil County Trucks.
Also heard them on 2 previously unidentified Public Works channels.

I did the update and did the key, but in Sentinel, it doesn't show TGID's, it has zero for them. Except the Patch TG's, it has the TGID for them. somethings not right.

Reverted back to 1.07.02, then updated the firmware, the TGID's are still 0. It worked on other ProVoice systems (Somerset). Do I have import Cecil and put the TGIDs in before I upgrade to 1.10?

You'll wish to upgrade to the latest version of firmware for the radio and also the latest version of firmware for Sentinel (the PC software....which is what Troy was referring to). Then, downloading the data from RR should work fine. That said, there have been some periodic glitches in the RR Cecil database....and this might be your hangup. Worst case scenario, you can manually enter the TG data into Sentinel ( as many of us did back when the Provoice feature release came ahead of the appropriate RR database adjustments ).

TG 4237 Med 4

I think changing the TG 4237 Description field to simply "MED 4" in the RRDB from the original "Harford Memorial Hospital" is a step in reverse.

although "MED 4 Harford Memorial Hospital" would be an acceptable change.

Why remove accurate info that there is clearly room to accommodate in the field?

Is it not used primarily by the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital (Havre de Grace) any longer?
