It looks like the South End stations have changed there numbers. The South Fire district controls Navarre Beach #18, Holley- Navarre #17 and Midway #20. So far this is what I have. I am not sure of the reasoning behind the renumbering but this will give you an idea on who is who. From the looks of it, Holley/Navarre has changed there numbers from 17 series to 40 series. The same holds true for Midway Fire. The have gone from 20 series to 30 series. I have not heard a call from Navarre Beach yet so that will be TBD.

Midway Fire
Chief 20 = Chief 35
Squad 20 = Squad 35
Truck 20 = Truck 37
Engine 20 = Engine 35
Brush 20 = Brush 37

Holley/Navarre
Chief 17 = Chief 40
AC 17 = AC 40
Rescue 17 = Rescue 45
Engine 1701 = Engine 41
Engine 1702 = Engine 42
Engine 1703 = Engine 43
Engine 1704 = Engine 44
Engine 1705 = Engine 45

Thanks Dan,

I locked down a radio on south fire dispatch all weekend after I heard the new call signs. When I checked last night all the info on the SR web site still lists the old designations. The only thing I found that was new to me was the DEC 06 PDF that breaks down the Medic-1 through Medic-8 calls by the hours they operate.

Several times this weekend I heard the dispatcher use the old call and then correct themselves and use the new call.

I also have not heard Navarre Beach yet using the new calls.

Hey Dan
I did the same thing and came up with old data. I figure it will be a month or so before the web site is updated to reflect the new changes. I'm kind of curious on why they renumbered everything. I'll have to ask one of the fire fighters next time I see one.

Would you be able to provide a link to the PDF in question? Searched the SR site with no success... Thx.
