Motorola sites, from suitcase to SOW to full blown 8 to 10 tower simulcasts all have up to 4 possible CC's in a rotation set up. In ASTRO-25's they have 2 to 4 depending on site size and traffic expectations. Most do not change CC's all the time like they did in the Legacy 3600 BPS days. But some do. Most change only when they need to make changes to the site or entire system. Such as when they take an SOW or suitcase in range of another site running same CC as the current configuration. They will then flip the site over to one of many possible alternate configurations and switch to one of the other freqs as the primary CC. Or they could on the fly have it flip to a whole new set of CC's and new rotation line up. SOW's and suitcase sites are the most flexible of all sites due to the nature of how they are used. LWIN has if I recall, 4 suitcases, and multiple SOW's, 2 of which are attached to MCU's. (Mobile Command Units, one LSP, one GOHSEP, and there was talk of another one maybe for another agency but not sure if that ever came about.)
