Channel Occupancy Logging?

I have a Uniden BCT15X analog scanner and have tried Proscan and ARC XT software to log channel occupancy without success. I can search a band of frequencies, but the receiver stops on every channel with a continuous carrier, instead of simply logging the carrier and moving on to the next frequency. I have also looked at SDR software, but that also works like the BCT15X and stops on active channels. I previously used an ICOM R7000 receiver and Deltacomm software, which worked great.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A TRUE ACTIVITY LOGGING SOFTWARE SOLUTION?

Since that's a scanner problem, and not a Proscan or ARC problem, simply try what @ProScan advised in the post above.

I likely have Proscan mis-configured, but when I set the Resume Scan/Search to Instant, the desired result does occur. However, the History Logging no longer records the event. It briefly appears, during the split second the receiver hears the signal, then beeps, then proceeds to continue to search after deleting the log entry. If I change from "Instant" to "off", the logging returns to normal, with the receiver locked on the channel with carrier.

I have the receiver set on Custom 9 search, which I have set for 450 MHz to 469.999 MHz, delay 0 and step 12.5 KHz. Latest firmware in the receiver.

The scanner is what’s scanning. So if you run the same search without Proscan running, does it still hang on open carriers?

I forgot about this option. Turn it off.

Set the highlighted to "off" and see what happens...
