Dashed down to the local pet emporium to discover this electronic display was being changed out.
They are instructed to recycle it.
It is a small LCD display and dedicated controller, several input switches and LED units, and an IR proximity sensor.
They are programmed with a USB connection and use an SD card for storage.
The speaker is a tiny thing and uses the cardboard as a sound board, actually vibrating the cardboard.
Of course, a power supply.
On the board is an LCD driver, perhaps for another type of display.
At this point I do not know anything about it.
The price is right, free.
The beer distributors do the exact same thing, a small display with something about "The big game" or something.
I know almost nothing about it at this point, but clearly it has a cheap cardboard box, so it can not be that expensive.
