Cherokee National Forest appears to have changed frequencies. I live near the English Mountain repeater and I have heard zero traffic. Ive been scanning federal band looking to see if something has changed with no luck. Anyone have info on this?

Could be that everyone working for NPS has been DOGEd ...
The employees of the Cherokee National FOREST, do not work for the NPS. They work for the U.S. Forest Service. The layoffs affected about 3,000 employees of the U.S. FOREST Service and that would not be enough to silence an entire National Forest. Public safety employees (fire/law enforcement) were not part of the 3,000 employees laid off. Public safety is at least 75% of the radio traffic heard on USFS nets.
I just got a document yesterday that might list the Cherokee, but I'm not sure. I have a couple of appointments I have to get to, so I won't be able to look until this afternoon.
I have a couple of minutes before I have to leave for my appointments. The Cherokee NF has gone digital. The document I have does not list English Mountain. It lists the following
172.3750 Contact North (Pinnacle)
169.9750 Contact North (Greystone)
169.9250 Contact South (Oswald)
169.9250 Contact South (Waucheesi)
The receive side of all these listings is NAC $F7E

Check the NAC. I've been getting 7F3 on 169.925...
The document I have lists the output NAC as $F7E for all 3 nets of the Cherokee NF.
Can I ask if you have it programmed and hearing things on it? All day long today I kept hearing "on Waucheesi." I will definitely sit on it first thing this morning to reverify and let you all know! I don't want to be putting out bad information! I hope you gentlemen have a great night!
NAC $F7E is CSQ for digital, you'll pick up any digital traffic regardless of the transmitted NAC

$F7E is only for (Never found it to work in a Scanner) Two-way Radios, it indicates RX is Open to any/all tones.
Similar to the Analog use of TX a tone, but the RX is No PL/CSQ
Definitely NAC 7F3 on Waucheesi Mountain, 169.925 just 2 seconds ago.
I also receive traffic on 169.925 NAC 7F3 over here in WNC
