I don't know all the facts why CVFD is not on the TRS. I remember someone posting that they were having issues.

Chester 151.370?

Do we know if Chester (fire) still has the VHF link up on 151.370? I have not monitored it recently? But I'm not in the area all the time. I just come visit on weekends a few times a month.

i'm pretty sure that chester licenced those two uhf frequencies. they used to be licenced by some ps agency in ny. i guess they're just so busy that they need two more uhf channels for fg or repeter activity, and that their one vhf frequency isn't enough.

actually it is so they can have the response talkgroup rebroadcast over the UHF repeater and program channel 2 on their pagers to listen to the response channel when enroute to the firehouse. If the trucks leave the house to go to the fire the members can go directly to the fire instead.

MIRS-EMS Response 2 TRS----any VHF or UHF Crosspatch's

Anyone know of any VHF or UHF conventional frequencies linked to EMS Response 2-MIRS TRS in Southern Morris County. I know MUN-PD4 is being simulcasted by Chatham on 460.3125/465.3125 PL: 114.8. Really interested in a simulcast of EMS channel though.

Chatham is the only PD link up to the MUN PD talkgroups, specifically PD-4 as you posted.

All the Fire and EMS talk groups are simulcasted off the old MC REDS repeater from the tower on the top of Hanover Ave (Mt. Freedom) on 151.055 PL 173.8.

All far as UHF individual links:

Randolph has a patch from FIRE RESP 1 and EMS RESP 1 on 476.5000 DPL 205.
Washington Twp has a patch from FIRE RESP 1 on 477.1125 PL 192.8

Dover has a patch from FIRE RESP 2 on 472.425 PL 103.5

Roxbury has a patch from FIRE RESP 3 and EMS RESP 2 on 478.600 PL 162,2

Nothing yet for FIRE 4 or EMS 3.

Washington had a call they were working last Monday during the thunderstorms that was coming over their UHF patch channel. That same traffic was not coming over the MC REDS simulcast...

So the responders can hear the dispatches on a non-digital/trunked scanner. Why not use an existing cheap scanner instead of buying a $500 scanner?
