Chicago Air and Water Show 2025

I am a newbie here (just joined), but have been a Ham since 2011; and have been listening to scanners since I bought my Bearcat 210 nearly 50 years ago.

It's been several years since I've been down for the airshow, so on Saturday, I am going to take Metra in and the 151 bus up to North Ave.

I appreciate all the info so far and am currently programing my radios; does
anyone know yet what the Airboss frequency will be?

Welcome! Based on the 2023 thread, the Air Boss was on 134.975. I'm keeping my eye around those frequencies.

Yesterday TBirds were on 235.250 AM Diamond and 149.650 AM Solo

Good to see the Maryland ANG A-10s are out that way for their retirement tour.

I live right by their home base and they have already retired some with water canon salutes last weekend.

After they depart no more flying unit at Martin State Airport for the ANG, since they are transitioning to Cyber mission.
