It is Saturday afternoon and I'm hearing marathon-related comms on A Beep "Sears 2" LTR system. There were a good deal of comms on TG 0-17-236 testing coverage from the course & in and around the TV production compound. Also heard a few comms on 0-17-222. The marathon has used TGs from the 0-17-190s into the 0-17-200s in past years.

Cool! I'm not into the marathon, but it's cool to hear different stuff other than PD/FD all the time.

Predicted high of 85 tomorrow...this will be yet another disaster in the making. Had to work the first "heat-athon", and it was not fun. Superior Ambulance has the primary response, but i'm sure CFD will be busy by 9AM. Look for City-Wide 6, EMS Command to be the busiest.

Sounds like all hell has broken lose once again, CFD has been called to back up Supiour, and they just pulled an EMS MABAS alarm. Here we go again.

Seems like I predicted this earlier...now if I only knew the lottery numbers for today.

Looks like it turned into pretty much a non-issue. MABAS callouts were returned within a couple hours from Staging at USCF (Did any of them transport or have any patient contact?)

Yes, their were some transports made. 2-1-11 (ADFC-EMS) mentioned Oak Park ambulance handling one of the runners. Superior handled most of the chaos. The planners really need to think about changing these dates to December. Or, if it's predicted to be warm outside, and after 5 hours you're not even at Mile 13, it's time to go home and you shouldn't even be there.

I know the guys who went out on that call. They got turned around I guess superior got there and had already started taking the patient to the hopsital before they (Oak Park) even got there.
