CHP escorting buses?

Saw something interesting today, I was gassing up this morning when CHP stopped traffic at an intersection and 4 or 5 buses were being escorted thru the intersection. The patrol car said CHP on it, didn't see what the two motorcycles were.
This was on Bristol St south of the 405 freeway heading south in Costa Mesa. I'm assuming they came off the 405. Maybe something to do with the OC Fair?

I didn't have the scanner with me to listen in. One of the Blue channels maybe?

The Raiders and Chargers (I think) are training in Costa Mesa. If the busses were orange and red, that would be them.

I didn't pay attention to the bus colors so I can't say.
I know where the Charger's training ground was, near the 405 and Harbor blvd., use to pass by going home from work. Didn't they move to the Simi Valley or Thousand Oaks area?
Don't know anything about the Raiders. It would make sense if they are training in Costa Mesa for the escort.

You're right. Chargers are in El Segundo now. The other team here is the Saints, and they're at UCI.
