heard from a few folks off line (YMMV) but the RIDs are assigned to CAP Official Radios
if a member is authorized to program or have programmed their own PERSONAL Radio it will be "1"

On tonight's Net, "Whitetail 63" had a the UID:5000006 on R42P. Everyone else was on the VHF FM side.

Are CAP nets every night? The past two nights I've heard a CAP net start at 8pm EST. 148.125 107.2PL, with NACs 302, 6CA, 4A4, and I believe there was a NAC 450 also. The net control was Red Fox 17. This was a 5/3 to 5/5 copy in East Central Indiana. Any idea where this might be coming from?

From the link @ecps92 posted in post 11, the nets and times are listed almost half way down the page under Wing/Squadron VHF Nets

Sadly those Net Dates/times are a bit dated, but if anyone has updates to share, we can add/edit them

Also Net participation is down from the days of a clip/snip of a diode to know having a Part 90/NTIA compliant radio (aka $$$)
and for a groups of kids to go purchase something like that...the nets are more the Seniors and Adult Staff (IMHO)

148.1250 R 107.2 is the Chicago Repeater and would only use the NAC of 430

The other NACs being heard, may point to an image or interference on your end , likely as
302 is not a valid CAP NAC
4A4 and 6CA are not known for any IL Wing Repeaters

Yea, 430. I knew it was 4xx and I had looked it up on the RR NAC list. Since a 450 NAC is not listed on that list, it was 430.

The other NACs, 4A4 and 6CA are Indiana CAP NACs for repeaters on that frequency between me and Chicago.

I'll have to find some local NAC 302 frequencies and see if I can monitor those.

As far as the Chicago CAP Net, Red Fox 17 was the net control last night, so that definitely points to Illinois CAP.

IS that an Eglin Base Freq that CAP is allowed to use ? Definately not one of the CAP channels.

And the only $4A4 - seem all to be NPS or USFWS but not down in the MIL Band of 137-144/149-150.8
149.2875 NAC 4A4 aircraft "CAP 830" up checking for wildfires on the Eglin AFB range today.

Good question. They have been using that frequency for a while, but I don't know if it is a Eglin base frequency or CAP. I can tell you that CAP is the only agency using it.

Interesting, note it was not seen in any of prior code plugs for them, so it could be a Regional or Wing special allocation
or something they added based on assignement by Eglin

Our wings in NH/ME do forestry patrols during fire season and come up on those agencies channels often

Here is another mention of that freq, and that it belongs to the FD on the base.
