I’m definitely not being rude. I’m just looking for information beyond what is in my face within radio reference database. The data is inaccurate and/or confusing in terms of tap out channels and working channels for the agencies within the county and among the two separate dispatch agencies.
You’re correct, I don’t live in Clatsop county (which is why I’m asking for clarifying info). I did grow up in the neighboring county and have some understanding of what I’m actually asking. Providing answers or hypotheticals based on what you’re looking at in RR just isn’t helpful in this thread…
Yup. I saw that. However, It only answered one of my several questions (which is debatable on if it’s an accurate answer or not based on some additional reliable responses 🤷♂️).
lol why are you replying at this point. Why would I call the Sheriffs office? I’m looking for someone (likely a knowledgeable scanner nerd who lives there) who can provide some factual answers in terms of which freqs are actual tap out channels and which ones are primary working ops channels and which agencies use each one…. The LE question was a small part of my questions.
Again, the data in radio reference is partially inaccurate in terms of the labels/descriptions. So reiterating what is in the RR database is not what I’m looking for.
There is no need for this unnecessary exchange at this point. Would love to get back to the original convo.
Here's what I had on the last "dump" from a county radio, left over from the old repeater/multi-site system. Current practice is to use the Wickiup "channel" for the whole county, they didn't bother reprogramming all the radios so the old labeling/channel plan is still used. Obviously they all had different Tx PL codes, not sure if that's advisable to post or not--even though I know you could pick it up with a scanner. I can try and pull Fire info as well, don't have access to the iCom software right now.
