BW. What you found/posted was fine. Bud is just stating that he had the other frequencies (those for which we didn't have any LCN / color code info) in as conventional DMR repeaters (rather than part of a trunked system) and was monitoring them -- and that he did pick up some traffic on them.

It's entirely possible that some of the frequencies on the license aren't part of the trunked system but instead are being used as conventional repeaters for other things.

Gotta love the C-130s. I like watching the Chinooks fly into the local Podunk airport during drills one day every week during the summer. They all look like they should fall out of the sky, but they don't :)

Non stop traffic

Went down to the Lake Front from 6 to 7:30 and monitored traffic on every TG from 101 to 120.

Here are the TG's I'm reasonably certain of:
TG 105 Maintenance (multiple requests for maintenance)
TG 108 Announcements (Birthday)
TG 109 Player Entrance & Check in
TG 113 Cleaning (Suites)
TG 114 Consessions (Tacos, Register, Money)
TG 115 Kitchen (Chefs, special food prep requests for suites, players and officials)
TG 116 Bar restock (Peanuts, Pretzels, etc,..)

Here are some TG's traffic I can't put a specific tag on:
TG 102 Employee entrance, UH (University Hospital) Gate.
TG 103 PD, Intox fan, Medical?
TG 106 Gate, Guest Services Area
TG 107 Discount on alcohol, (promotion?)
TG 110 Media Tunnel, No one in the End Zone, Credentials
TG 118 Make sure the kids on the field are wearing tennis shoes, not cleats.
TG 119 TV sound adjustment at several venues, Audio/Visual?

If anyone else monitored, please provide any additional info you may have.

Nice job bud,

I spent about 30 minutes and logged the following Color Codes and Talkgroups. I let ProScan do the logging and got UIDs from 1002 to 2004 and one odd-ball 10666.

Thanks, Bud. I updated / added 105, 108, 109, 113, 114, 115 and 116.

I'm contemplating removing the nonconfirmed freqs/LCNs from the system and just putting them in the wiki (but I hate editing the wiki). I am not 100% we have all of the freqs for the system yet, but we probably do and they probably don't use all the ones on the license for the trunked system. I think some folks already posted that there seems to be some conventional activity on a few of the frequencies.

At any rate, I'm glad it seems to be working so far for you with the information that you've all gleaned so far.

THanks, BW. I think at this point you guys have identified the first six LCNs of the system and their color codes (maybe there will be more, maybe not).

Being that I can't be there to do any of this, I feel out of line suggesting it -- But if you get a chance, how about specifically monitoring those frequencies that we really don't have any details on (like whether they are part of the trunked system, being used as standalone DMR repeaters or even being used as analog repeaters).

Given that the system really has to be busy for you all to be able to effectively gather info, that makes it pretty rough.

Here are the freqs were are less sure / totally unsure about:

461.4875
461.6375
463.3125
463.5125
464.025
464.4625

Maybe another attempt at running LCN Finder on the full system (all channels added to the trunked system) or maybe an attempt at running LCN Finder on just the six we don't know is a good idea. Or maybe just scan them as conventional DMR freqs and see what type of activity pops up.

At any rate, you guys have all done great. We really appreciate the sleuthing.

I camped out downtown for the first two hours of the Browns game with two scanners. The first monitored the above 6 frequencies. No traffic.

The second scanner monitored the other 6 frequencies (451.9125 CC2, 452.3000 CC3, 453.0125 CC5, 462.4500 CC4, 463.5625 CC6, 463.8625 CC7) these were very active.

Here's some additional talk group information that I monitored. The names in Bold were used by the talk group. Following the colon: is the activity monitored.

TG101 PD?: Dog Patrol found a gun magazine.
TG102 Command Center: Coordinating Security and Medical personnel
TG110 Ushers: removing fans smoking in non-smoking areas, confiscating peanuts from fans tossing peanuts at other fans
TG111 Attendants?: Personnel controlling the Gates and Escalators (don't know what to call this group).
TG117 Marketing/Promotions: distribution of promo items, example: Joe Thomas pins were handed out today.

Nice data, Bud. Please submit what you're comfortable submitting so that it can get added to the DB! And thanks for taking the time to do that.

Monitored the following frequencies using my TRX-1 in conventional mode:
461.4875, 461.6375, 463.3125, 463.5125, 464.025, 464.4625

Yesterday from home I monitored the following:
464.4625 TG 10 CC7 Sounded like Valet Parking Lot traffic. Heard a mention of West 3rd.
463.5125 TG 3 CC1 Also sounded like Parking traffic

While I was typing this today, I heard on TG 2 a comment on not being able to turn the floor lights on. I didn't catch the CC or frequency.

464.4625 & 463.5125

Well I think I have my answers regarding the users of 464.4625 and 463.5125. It's not the Cleveland Browns or First Energy.

Regarding 464.4625 it is licensed to three companies in Cleveland. The Cleveland Browns, Raisin Industries LLC and Fundamental Parking LLC. Raisin Industries LLC and Fundamental Parking LLC jointly own The Avenue at Tower City Central and it's Parking Lot concessions.

Here's the FCC license information.
Name...……………………...FRN...………..License/Call Sign
Raisin Industries LLC 0025404179 WRBS604

The following traffic monitored: TG10 CC7 Monitored Parking Traffic, Prospect Valet Area. Several references to West 3rd, West 6th and Huron parking areas. Tower City Center. Ticket jammed in machine, not allowing the cars out of the garage.

Next is 463.5125. Which is licensed to three companies in Cleveland.
Cleveland Browns, 0014573729, WQFH480
Sherwin Williams, 0014988836, WQLR859
University Hospital, 0002934305, WQME344

As it turned out, due to a change in the weather I was able to clearly monitor the traffic on 463.5125. It is University Hospital, Beachwood location.
TG 1 CC1
, Card wouldn't unlock doors. Nurse reported an issue with a door. Sixth floor, exterminating issue. Nurses station #6.
TG 2 CC1, Ventilator alarm went off.
TG3 CC1, Abrams left the building is waiting for RTA.

As to why three companies in close proximity would be assigned the same frequency, I don't know. So just for grins, if I get a chance next week I will go to the Browns training camp in Berea to see if any of these frequencies are in use there.

Yeah it is uncanny that those would be licensed like that, but I guess it all depends upon the site profile / ERP. But that probably explains why FES isn't using those freqs. They probably determined that at certain points in time there either was or could be interference if they were to use them as part of the trunked system.
