Couple of quick questions

Does any body have the pager tones for all Cleveland County Fire Departments along with Emergency Management, Fire Marshall and Forestry Service.

Also, Is Cleveland Co still using analog pagers or have they switched to 800 MHz pagers

I have there 158.760 MHz frequency programmed in a Minitor III, but I am either to far from the transmitter or they are not using it any longer.

Please post here

Thanks

David

I believe they're strictly on 7/800 because they don't have station paging like fire does.

Plus digital pagers are expensive

I know Unication G5'2 selling for about $700.00 bucks when introduced.

The demand has driven up the price well over $800 bucks plus now.

I figured EMS was strictly 800 Mhz.

Since the rescue squads went out of business and EMS crews work 24/7 no real need for pagers.

Most EMS services are doing away with VHF paging and opting for 700/800 Mhz. radio alerting.

More changes I see are coming

Thanks

After some monitoring Cleveland Co Fire today at work.

From what I was able to hear they sound like they may be using Pelectron Tones.

Also, sounds like they are following the same tone scheme as Gaston County. Tone A: is different and Tone B; is the same tone for all pagers.

Haven't really had time to sit down and decode them on my BC346XT. May be I can find time to do that next weekend.
