Clone from Pro96 to PSR600

Is it possible to clone from a Pro96 scanner to a PSR600, if not are they a place that i can get a Bin file for my area. I think that is what i did when i got my Pro96 scanner. Someone just sent me a file and i downloaded it into my Pro96 scanner. Very Easy, I was hopeing I could do that again. Any help appreciated. I'm very green when it comes to trying to program a digital scanner.

under IMPORT on psdedit500 choose in port from other scanner types & choose Pro96 & import from that pro 96 file

According to the Win500 page, this software also has this ability. Unfortunately the ARC500 page on the BuTel website doesn't mention this ability, so I'm assuming it doesn't have it

actually i don't have the file but i do have the scanner still. How would that work? thanks

dl win 96 & then dl scanner to it & save then try the import from th file into psr edit500

PSREdit500 can read the data from a PRO96 and convert it to the PSR-500/600 format. It cannot read p96 files as the encryption on that file format is proprietary.
