CNE Airshow

Its that time of year...
I have seen a few of the snowbirds fly into PIA, one just flew over Rexdale on the rexdale approach and man was it ever loud and did he come in fast.

I imagine it is a good time to listen to your Airshow frequencies.
Last year they also flew over my place in Burlington in formation, probably to land at Hamilton IA.

Blue Angels were floating around today. #7 arrived on Thurs night, the rest came in today at 4pm.

a C-130 Hercules also arrived this afternoon.

I don't know what, but something very epic just flew over my place downtown...shook the windows and scared the hell out of me.

hear the raptor will be staging out of NFARS , not from pearson as they did in 2007. any one confirm this? if so, why?

Saw the Blue Angels buzzing around the CNE this morning around 9:45 am. Lots of chatter on 284.25 as they were choosing which landmarks, condo buildings etc to use as visual cues for turns during their show.

That's what I was wondering too. Low 'n slow over the lake ! Since it arrives on Mon, Wed and Fri between 3:30-4:00pm, anyone at YYZ on Labour Day will get a good look at it especially rwy5/23.

Blues just launched again in formation, got them in 284.25 air-air.

Boss Radar is on 119.200.

your right i heard them on there too..took a while to find them but that frequency is there formation i beleive...they sound out of breath almost....
