how about 157.125mhz? Anyone ever hear anything on that? I did tonight but couldn't really make anything out except i did hear someone mention going "closer to the sound" so it was something at sea. I only have it listed as " government use" I'm not sure where I got that info.

Mondaro, reference to your post about frequencies to monitor at the beach, read my post here. I posted a link to to all of the VHF Marine Frequencies and also added a small list of some of the good ones to listen to.

Coast Guard Air Ops

All those ops are taking place between Seaside and Barnegat Light offshore about a mile. You can see them out there. They run lights on and lights off.

Monitored <143.280> USCG AUX. REPEATER last night(03/14/06) at approx. 6:40pm. They were conducting a radio net and heard mention of Spring Lake Aux. CG.
