Next month is my annual trip from Louisiana to ft Walton Beach Florida. Since there is not much left to monitor from mobile to ft Walton. Does anyone have any confirmed low,vhf or unf coast Guard freq? Other than the 156.8 ect ect? taking my brother on his first fla trip
On one of my trips, I did find a P25 frequency but failed to write it down. .

Be sure to set those freqs listed for digital and not analog. Here around the great lakes 167.1125 is fully encrypted, my local coast guard uses 167.625 with the station encrypted and the other personal are not.

I was in Destin, FL last October and heard traffic on 157.100 from USCG Sector Mobile and Station Destin. Also, Coast Guard Sector Mobile, AL covers Destin, FL and uses CG111 162.325 and CG409 412.975. These are sometimes encrypted. I heard parts of conversations in P25 but unfortunately I don't remember if it was NAC 293 or a different one.
