COATESVILLE — A 22-year-old Coatesville man was shot to death about 11 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Harmony Street just west of South Sixth Avenue, according to city police.
Neighbors heard two gunshots and contacted police, according to Coatesville Police Chief Julius Canale. Police responded and found the victim's body in between two homes on South Sixth Avenue, he said.
The victim, Trey Toaltoan, was shot in the chest. A bullet apparently passed through Toaltoan's upper torso and exited his back, although investigators said they will know more about the extent of the injury and cause of death once an autopsy is complete.
Toaltoan was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
