What are the best settings for this new system for a 296d and 396? Does the 396 work best in "Auto" mode or are there other settings?
Also, I tried to get the best decode on my 296...but some groups liked a lower setting at 533, and others liked a higher setting at 933...is there a happy medium to decode this system? Thanks!

I've been using auto on 396 with good success.
On the other hand, I've had horrible success with the 296, especially when trying to scan both the P25 and conventional at the same time. Its lousy.
So if anyone has any suggested settings for the 296, I'm also eager for 'em.
