The codes for Phoenix PD and MCSO are not the same. I have a complete list of Phoenix PD's codes that I will send to you (and anybody else who wants them, just PM me). Don't have the MCSO codes though, sorry.

To the poster and anybody else who needs these codes - I also recommend buying a copy of the SWFD10 (coming out in December) which will be sold on scannerstuff.com - its a really great book that has everything you need for the Phoenix area.

For tucsonans who want the SWFD 10 and don't want to pay for the shipping, Action Communications sells the book at their store at 2816 N. Stone Ave next to the Circle K. Can't wait for the new edition, it has been 3 years since the newest edition came out!

MCSO uses very few codes. There is a list of almost 150 codes that MCSO has so its impossible to know them all. Best to do is get to know the frequently used ones.

I have been waiting for quite some time for the new edition! I am glad it is finally almost here! :)
I think you sent me a copy of the 10 codes a few months ago, and I keep a copy at home for when I am listening to my scanners here and a copy at work for when I am listening to to the streaming scanners. Thank you for the list!

Does this book list all the talkgroups? I get so many when I search, 2931, 2966, 3057, 2954, 2942, 2847, 2927.....1667 and those are just a few that I can't figure out what they belong to. Very frustrating, also will it say was radio codes mean - for instance, they just had a 211T and my sheet says money tx'er, but I don't know what it means. I will definately have to buy the book if it has all this good stuff!!

Yeah, the book literally has everything that you will need with these radio systems. I'm sure those talkgroups will be in there, and it has all of the radio codes.

BTW, a 211T is a money bag transmitter (tx'er) that was taken in an armed robbery (most likely from a bank).

I have no doubt that you will not regret buying the book, but if I were you I would definitely wait no more than a couple weeks until the 10th edition comes out so you will have the most updated info, I know I'll be ordering myself a copy.
