By Union Fire Company No. 1 October 10, 2010 5-7 Box Alarm
Just after 2AM, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for the full company assignment to assist the Quarryville Fire Company on a working house fire in the area of Rt. 472 and Wesley Rd in Colerain Township, Lancaster County.
First arriving 5-7 Units went on the scene with a vacant, two story dwelling, well involved. Engine 5-7-4 and Truck 5-7 were utilized for fire attack and ladder pipe operations.
Tanker 21 and Engine 21-2 supplied the scene while Ladder 21 and Engine 21-1 staged. Engine 2's crew became the RIT team, while the Ladder and Engine 1's crew entered the manpower pool to be put to work.
All 21 Units cleared the scene just after 5AM.
