Collin County

What needs to be done on the Home Patrol 1 in order to receive the rebanded Collin County frequencies? I have the latest firmware (2.01) and the latest database (Dec 11) but I still cannot pick up the county.

Read section 7.3 of the rebanding wiki. That applies to all the scanners that have pre-loaded databases...you should pick up the changes with the latest db load. Check the frequencies to see that is the case. If not report it in the Uniden forum - I see the changes were made back on Nov 10

Thanks. I have it working now. I did not realize that the favorites list needed to be rebuilt in order to pick up the new frequencies. I assumed that the favorites list just pointed to the entries in the DB, and would therefore pick up the new frequencies. But the frequencies are carried in the favorites table, so the old frequencies remained there.
