Columbus Fire Department

I was at the OSU game. I tried to listen to Columbus fire. I have the four control channels using a Uniden BCD325. I wasn't able to receive them in the game parking lot. I could hear them away from the stadium. Any help?

Columbus City has a HUGE Simulcast problem, so more than likely the radio couldn’t properly receive it

I would presume because you were near the OSU MARCS transmitter it could have been front end overload that caused you some problems. At the game CFD ops is on TGs on OSUs block on MARCS. Unless equipment is being dispatched from stations.
