Sounding better already. Does seem I would need a few jumpers since I have PL259 on my coax. Still need a 2 port splitter for my R8500. If I keep the R75, I will run coax to the loop alone. Thinking 75 feet so I can get the loop away from the house since it will be lower to the ground.

Most active loops don't use much current, probably less than 150ma so the voltage drop should be fine with 100ft of RG-58 or larger coax with a copper center conductor. If its copper clad steel the drop will become a problem at some point. Since the antenna is for VLF/HF the coax loss is not a big problem as the antenna has a preamp that will drive long runs of coax.

PRCguy, can I get away with 100 feet of LMR coax for the loop since it has a power inserter?
