That case almost looks like my Cooler Master Storm Scout II Advanced I have now.

Like I mentioned early on. You really should assign drive letters way up the chain so that they don't change. I'd start with I or even J. So J, K, L respectively. You do that in disk management. Reason being is that if you power cycle a drive or disconnect a drive and then power on the remainder drives, drive letters can and will change. The problem is exacerbated if you use thumb drives and what have you.

After you assign drive letters to one powered on HDD at a time, mark on each HDD that drive letter.

The computer automatically assigns drive letters. I don't think assigning drive letters down the line will make them stick unless I leave it powered on 24/7. As far as the computer sees it, these are merely removable storage drives and can be assigned whatever drive letters the computer sees fit

You can set a drive letter.

If you have programs and what have you with absolute paths you'll run into issues if and when the drive letter changes. It's most probable with the use of other USB storage devices being used.

Well the project is complete..for now. I'm seriously considering the pcie SATA card. Rgb strip installed. Can change it to any of 44 different colors..red, green, and blue show up best, of course. And yes, I did reassign drive letters to r, s, and t
