computer programming a pro-97

Its been a few years since I have programmed a pro-97 with WIN95. I have my com ports correct and do have 2 tested cables that worked in the past, when I try to upload my program the scanner it just stays on clone mode and doesnt say receiving and once done nothing has been uploaded to the scanner. My USB cable does show activity with the RX and TX lights. Am I missing something ? I just purchased this scanner is it possable the scanner is defective ? I have reset the scanner many time and still the same thing.

Yes. The Pro 97 requires Win 97, not Win 95.

I hope that was a typo, because Win95 won't work with the Pro-97. Win97 will, as will ARC300 and PsrEdit300. Links for all 3 can be found here...
