DSDPlus Continuous decode messages when input signal ends before normal DMR transmission end

In DSD+ (FL) 2.368 (and maybe for the last couple versions), if I'm decoding a signal from a capture played back through SDR# and VBCable, if the capture ends while a DMR transmissions is still happening, it sometimes just repeats an empty slot message about 24 times per second, until I either kill it or feed it something new to decode. E.g.,:

It doesn't happen all the time, but maybe at least 20% of the time that this situation occurs.

He's not using FMP24 because he is playback a IQ file via SDR# and VBCable.

Sounds like something is still being fed to DSD+. Record raw audio in DSD+ and see if the recording generates the same repeated messages. You can also examine the recorded audio to see what SDR# / VB Cable was sending.

I have observed similar or same behavior occurs for me as well in Fast Lane 2.289. I've been using it a lot lately to do verify data rolling into my other project, I've been replaying wav files over and over to verify LRRP data and other things, and find this behavior occurs if signal is suddenly gone while voice is active but no TLC frame arrives. That's my best guess at least. Seems pretty benign though, unless you are logging all those lines.

If I'm using it interactively and don't stop it by restarting or feeding it some other signal, it quickly wipes out the console window scrollback history, preventing me from being able to see/copy it. Or if I'm logging to a file ...

I'll do the DSD+ recording to see what it is getting. Thanks.
