I have 2 questions on this broadcastify site. My first question is what exactly is the speed 1 control setting for and what exactly does it do? What does it make faster?

My second question is what is the panning control for and what does it do?

I'm assuming you're referring to the audio controls on calls playlists?

The speed controls how fast the playback is. So if there is a large queue of calls, it can play through them faster if you choose so.

Pan allows you to have that audio play out of specific speaker, useful if you're listening multiple playlists. You could have one in the left speaker and one in the right for example.

I still don't understand the speed control. If I increase it the speed control, the sound becomes like a chipmunk. Please explain this feature more in detail. Sorry, but it just doesn't make any sense. Please follow up on this.

That's exactly what it does. If you're listening to a busy playlist or system with lots of calls coming in at once, you can speed up the playback to get through the queue faster (or to skip through what you don't want to hear).

Please explain why I get commercials when listening to broadcast transmissions on radioreference and I don't get any commercials when listening to broadcast transmissions on broadcastify. I thought they were both the same and since I am a paid premium subscriber on broadcastify shouldn't I get commercial free broadcasts on both sites broadcastify and radioreference?

As long as you are logged in with your premium account you will not get any commercials or ads. Remember, you must be logged into your premium account.
