I would say it has a hand, but you have read all the publications put out, they could easily take all liability off them selfs, it looks like lawyers wrote the darn 7110.65! So as most of the people against the WX radio can see, every pilot and controller has the same opinion. Though everyone is welcome to their opinion, I personally would take the advice of a professional in his line of work over my own opinion on just about any subject. Easy for me to say in this case huh? LOL but anyways, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
