When I program my local Troup county agencies into my scanner. Is it necessary to program it with conventional codes along side P25? I have RS 106 pro and whistler 1040 scanners. Just do not want any sort of conflict if any whatsoever.
Not sure I'm understanding your question fully but your county operates on a P25 Phase-I trunked radio system. There's notation in the RRDB saying various analog conventionals have expired in 2021 & 2022...
You would be the one to answer that, if you are hearing traffic on the conventional frequencies go ahead and program them separately from the trunked system, if you aren't then just program in the trunked P25 system and talkgroups.
