Also be aware of the "Mode" column when programming P25 trunking systems. If there is a "De" , it means that it is a Phase 1 digital system that is using part time encryption. "DE" is a phase 1 digital using full time encryption. The same goes for "Te" and "TE", but that is P25 TDMA or Phase 2.

No, I can use all the help I can get. I like learning if I can take my time. Only way I can learn is by adking you guys. I know of no one personally to help or show me. You people are of great help.

Let that stuff sink in. Review it if needed. Its elementary once you begin understanding. There are many things to learn about scanning. Don't think that its too complicated. It's really simple when you take the time to understand it. Don't get me wrong, it will take some time to get an understanding of it, but it will come. When someone tells you you need to eat an elephant, you can only eat one bite at a time! Just think of it like that.

Seems like over the years if I sat my mind to learn something, that could finally catch on. I worked on industrial maintenance and I decided I wanted to become a Journeyman Electrician. I sat down and starded reading the National Electric Code. It took me about a year and a half but I took my test and the guy that gave the test said I had made one of the highest grades he had seen. Maybe he hadn’t seen very many? As the years go by now it seems like it takes a little longer to catch on. But I’m determined enough that with you guys help, watching enough videos, i will get there. Thanks
