More testing today between CW6, Cook UHF1, Cook VHF 1 with Cook county dispatch and CPD dispatch
DuComm used to have that and it was great. IFERN too.. Do the still do that?I doubt this is their ultimate intention, but I wish it was a permanent ISPERN patch. Aside from great reception on my scanners, it's getting ISPERNs from far away, like ISP Troops 1, 2, and 5. Not to mention all the suburban PD mobiles that come in loud and clear too.
yep, 470.4375 and 470.3625 are ISPERN and IFERN patches, still activeDuComm used to have that and it was great. IFERN too.. Do the still do that?
And CG TAC 172.2125 is also patched with thisCook Interop UHF 1 and VHF 1 to CW6 (UHF and 800MHz) to Incident A1 on starcom21 patch is in full effect. Sounds like this is the version they will be using for the DNC. This might also be patched to CG COM and/or CG TAC but I am not sure. I have also heard that they may be patching this to some encrypted TGs on Starcom21 as well. Also, anyone noticed if the Cook Interop FM are simulcasts of their ENC talkgroups on Starcom?
And add CG-TAC-N 168.8875 to the patch trainAnd CG TAC 172.2125 is also patched with this
Quick stupid question.....are there any lists of scanners I can monitor around the DNC area?Yeah i forgot to mention that
Getting very exciting on the radio front!
Can anyone with some SDRs continously monitor and record the VHF/UHF federal spectrum to see if we can discover some new federal systems? I have mine set to recording, but I only have 1 SDR so I can't find new things.
Look here 2024 Democratic National Convention 8/19-8/22Quick stupid question.....are there any lists of scanners I can monitor around the DNC area?
Thankfully, it appears that I was wrong. It definitely seems that UHF 2 (453.750) is a permanent ISPERN patch after all. There were a few days not too long ago were the patch was de-activated, but was back up not too long afterwards. I recently listened to a pursuit initiated by Riverdale PD, and they were transmitting on UHF 2 instead of ISPERN. After an ISP dispatcher stated that the unit was "not on ISPERN", the frustrated RPD officer later said that UHF 2 as labeled as "ISPERN" in their radios.I doubt this is their ultimate intention, but I wish it was a permanent ISPERN patch.
yes, it has been confirmed to me that it will be permanent, i submitted that to the DB, and it now says (full time ISPERN patch) in the channel description.Thankfully, it appears that I was wrong.
