Why can't I? People do it all the time, including myself. But now for some reason it doesn't work. Pasting just leaves the flashing cursor and then nothing.

Would help if you told us how you're capturing the image, what platform & browser(s) you're having trouble with, full computer or mobile device?

Easiest way is Windows Snipping Tool.

But on my older machine that’s low on ram, it would do the same thing. Or if to many chrome tabs were open on the same machine.
