Unitrunker lost data

I noticed unitrunker closed on its own and lost alot of data. I thought this happened before because I thought I had over 320 something users, then I had 290s...

It happened again and now I have 218, I'm losing users, histories etc, it's terrible... Have to re-enter what I have recorded but that's time I ain't got right now really. Histories and users that I lost is most annoying. Am I running it to long, is this pc so crap it can't handle long runs without being stopped and restarted, I honestly don't know but it actually really angering.

Edit: I think what it's doing is reverting back to last current from 5-25-2026, so I'm losing like all those logs and data since then, before it must only lost some and why didn't end up with 218 the last time and had 290 something. Any thoughts wud be appreciated because there's no point if it keeps doing this

I know from Unitrunker V1, the only one that I use, that it has an Archive tab on the lower left part of the program. You can manually select a Backup from there. That helped me a few times in the past. There might be a backup also saved in the relevant directory somewhere. too.

It became unresponsive this morning. It put in most of the RIDs I lost manually at points I got a chance yesterday. I lost a few new RIDs from yesterday but all others were there, I did save it yesterday to create a new current that's not months back.

I see it has a revision (10) on like the 3rd out of the 11 saves in the archives, like it started saving to an old save and not the "current" save. See pic.

It cud just be the PC, it's junk, causing the program to close, crash etc. I powered it off and turned back on maybe that will help the crashing.

Do you all save it every so often, tbh I thought it auto saved, I didn't remember saving it before.

Weird thing, I seen yesterday evening when a new RID came up, it was a conservation officer, I labeled it etc.... well after the crash that was 1 of the missing new RIDs it got after my save... Well I can find it but can't click it in the "calls" feed but it's not there when I open the tab with all the users, I had to add it back.

I cudnt open the history, there's nothing, not even click the RID in the "calls" feed to get the window to even get to the history tab, it was like all the data associated with it was gone besides the RID itself showing in the "calls" feed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

stop the program, Try going into ..\users\user\AppData\Roaming\Unitrunker then copy the most recent (or largest size recent) unitrunker.xml.### file, then rename it to unitrunker.xml , then restart the program?

It's time to upgrade that old PC of yours and the cost to do so can be quite affordable. You can move your Unitrunker folder to the new PC and keep going without any loss of data.

I did a re-install, we will see what happens now, seems better but idk. Saved my files so that's a plus.
