In the past, I used to listen to Copperas Cove, but I believe they have gone to another system or flipped the "E."

Yesterday, I heard Coryell SO dispatch acting odd. In fact, I have never seen or heard my radio acting like this. All of the other conventional frequencies in my radio are fine.

I made a recording of such. I heard the alert tone going off with rapid flashing of the LED. It showed data on the upper screen. I could barely catch "ENC." On other encrypted talk groups you the "ENC" stays on the screen longer.

So, I need some help.

What help are you requesting? If they've indeed gone encrypted there's nothing you can do to bring them in. Are you simply asking for confirmation from someone in the area?

Yes, I am asking for others in the area to monitor and/or confirm these transmissions to help me understand what is happening since the "ENC" is not behaving like it usually does on other encrypted channels/talk groups. Typically, I don't get a lot of help for this county, but it is worth a go.

I used to hear Copperas Cove on EDACS PV, but no more.

I really don't want to drive to GV or Copperas Cove, LOL.

I've got some 6 or 7 year old Gatesville Fire and Coryell SO codeplugs. Fire was a big fan of ADP in their radios.

For what it's worth when I drove to Cove a month or so ago with my laptop I wasn't able to pickup a CC for the EDACS System there at all. Right off 190.

It has been over six months that they have been silent. Actually, I started a thread on this one, but did not get much response. I have been attempting to find any documentation on it. I am not going to double post, but you can see one of the old plans from years back concerning the radio systems in this area. Thank you for your effort.

Coryell SO now uses ADP on their main 155.685
