Cosco freqencys for listening

Here is the one frequency heard from cosco
486.2125 with a receive tone of 67.0 if anybody wants to listen to cosco this is there radio freqency at least for the one in wake county idk if they utilize different ones at diffeent coscos but this is the one I picked up with my ham radio happy listening

Depending on where the location is (Height above Average Terrain) and from where inside a (portables only) metal fabricated building, at most a 1mi or 2mi depending your Antenna as well

Ok I was just curious and I’ll let u know if I hear them with my big antenna and my hot antenna

Well I have been sitting here for a bit and it’s been silent the entire time I have my hot and my big antenna with a sdr and I have heard nothing but I’ll keep checking and let you know

Honestly I'm not at all surprised. Those mobiles are simplex (not repeated) and are intended for in store coverage only. As Bill alluded to in post #8 building materials may further dampen RF propagating out

Although most Costcos have gone the spread spectrum route (Motorola DLRs and the like) which are unscannable by off the shelf scanners
That may explain why the two VHF freqs have gone dark at my Costco. Haven't heard a peep in months. I'll have to look at their radios next time i'm there.
