CPD Officer Shot

Occured last night at 60th Hermitage. Officer was a 27 year old, 3 years with CPD assigned to 7th District Tactical Team. He was shot in the head and is in critical condition. Quite a few links to all the news organizations...hope for a speedy recovery.

Update: The officer that was shot this morning has passed away this afternoon. Sad to see an officer killed in the line of duty

I spoke with a CPD Officer on a local repeater who said it didn't look good. I'm so sad to see this happen to anyone at all, including a Police Officer who was only doing what he was sworn to do not only in the legal sense, but because that Officer had a huge desire to protect the community from scumbags like this.
