I think with Calgary it's a bit more of a challenge as they've been P25 since day 1 and they don't have analogue to fall back on. Saskatoon was on analogue and converted to digital.

I wouldn't say that. CPS has been on P25 Common Air Interface - digital voice, but not on a true P25 system - since their move off analog UHF in the mid-1990s. And they most assuredly have analog "to fall back on" - it's just that they have evidently chosen to use another method (namely iDEN).

Still quiet here all day - couple pops and that was it

It was interesting to watch Unitrunker. Lots of joins, then the odd flurry of 30 or so Calls of the same source ID and destination group ID.

I'm hearing normal traffic now on A6 on the Fish Creek system.

Heard this evening on A6:
"In the event we have to switch to Mike, Mike channel will be <whatever channel he said>" So may not be done yet.

Glad I heard I'm not the only one not getting transmissions.. I hope they are up broadcasting again soon.

A lot more Districts active tonight. Haven't really looked closely at this but have heard A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, [A7?], A9 Traffic. Lot less squeaks and squawks. Was a lot of "testing" this afternoon.

Did hear conversation this morning about doing a role call on their Mike Radios. Not certain what district. Still more activity on CDR than last week so far from silent. Still not as many squeaks and squawks.
